As a symbol of remembrance and hope for members of the armed forces, past and present, it’s customary to wear poppies leading up to and on Remembrance Day (11th November).

The Royal British Legion supports the Armed Forces community - serving men, women, veterans and their families. It is committed to helping people understand the importance of remembrance, so that sacrifices are never forgotten.
